HSE Manager – Data Centre – Sweden

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced HSE Lead to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Eskilstuna, Sweden.

Responsibilities

HSE Leadership & Strategy
Lead the implementation of the project Health, Safety and Environmental strategy, ensuring alignment with Swedish regulations, client standards and main contractor procedures.
Site Safety Management & Compliance
Oversee day-to-day HSE performance on site, carrying out inspections, audits and risk assessments to ensure all construction activities are conducted safely and compliantly.
Contractor & Workforce Engagement
Manage and support subcontractors on all HSE matters, delivering inductions, toolbox talks and briefings to promote a strong, proactive safety culture across the project.
Incident Management & Reporting
Lead the investigation of incidents, near misses and unsafe acts, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and reported accurately to senior project stakeholders.
Environmental & Sustainability Control
Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, noise, dust and emissions, ensuring compliance with local environmental legislation and project sustainability objectives.

Requirements

Must have relevant Health and Safety qualifications (i.e. NEBOSH)
Must have 6+ years’ experience in a similar role on large-scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Sweden
